Clerkenwell Design Week
For this year’s Clerkenwell Design Week, we teamed up with our neighbours Optelma Architectural Lighting to celebrate change and renewal using our studio’s post-modernist façade and courtyard.
As one of the first residents in Clerkenwell and counting 43 years on number 17 Bowling Green Lane, we offered our landmark studio building as the starting point of the creative collaboration, using Optelma’s expertise in new technology and products to animate and illuminate our premises.
We worked creatively with Optelma’s team of lighting designers to develop and implement a design concept which brought a new sense of playfulness and colour to our iconic façade and arched courtyard.
The feedback and engagement from our visitors continuous to be hugely positive so we have decided to retain the lighting the installation past Clerkenwell Design Week for more people to enjoy and experience.
