Luigi studied at the Architectural Association in London, graduating in 1983; RIBA Part 3 at Polytechnic of Central London, awarded in 1985. He joined CZWG in 1985 and became a partner in 2006.

During his career at CZWG Architects, Luigi has been involved in the design and running of many major projects including Bankside Lofts – a 7 - storey residential/office building; The Green Bridge, Mile End Park; Site A4, Edinburgh Park, a 5000 sq m office building with underground parking; Fortune Green, London NW6 – 10 courtyard houses and a basement car park set within a back land site; Clink Street, a new building containing 14 apartments with restaurant space on ground floor; Alpha Place – conversion/new build of existing electricity substation and ancillary office into residential approx 61 apartments (planning); Ironmonger Row – a conversion of an existing warehouse into 14 apartments with office space at ground and basement. More recently, Luigi has been responsible for the design of a masterplan to regenerate a large derelict canalside area in Smethwick (Birmingham) and a major masterplan for Barnsley Market inYorkshire, comprising commercial, leisure and residential elements.

Luigi has also been involved in a number of successful planning appeals at public enquiry. One of these, a mixed use development in West Hampstead which includes 70 apartments, a health club and a number of retail units. He is currently designing a scheme for 80 affordable apartments in East Ham, and is a keen hill walker, cyclist and runner.
