Adam initially studied Architecture at BathUniversity where he was runner up in the Sir Basil Spence Award for best 4th year degree project. He gained his Diploma (with Distinction) at theUniversityofWestminster where he also won joint first prize in the British Steel Architectural Students’ Award in 1992 and the CLAWSA 1st year Diploma Portfolio Prize. He qualified in 1995 with Distinction in his Professional Practice exams (RIBA Part III).

 

Adam joined the practice in 1995 and was made an Associate in 2002 and a Partner in 2006. At CZWG he has worked on many projects from competition and feasibility through to planning and construction stages. Completed buildings Adam has been involved with include Dundee Wharf (residential), Bankside Lofts (residential and office space), Suffolk Wharf at Camden Lock (retail, restaurants and offices) and the National Portrait Gallery 20th Century Wing (gallery refurbishment). He was associate in charge of the Arsenal FC developments atLough Road East,Queensland Road andDraytonPark totaling over 1,600 residential units and 34,000 sq m of mixed use commercial accommodation. As design team leader for the construction phase of VizioN7, he was responsible for the highly successful implementation of a large part of theLough Road East masterplan. With a contract sum of £62 million, the development has over 500 apartments and 6000m2 commercial space and was completed in spring 2007.

 

As a partner, Adam is now responsible for a wide range of projects.  Ransome’s Wharf, a mixed use scheme in Battersea recently gained planning permission, whilst another mixed use scheme in Bournemouth is currently at the design stage, along with further elements of the Arsenal FC proposals and a competition winning affordable housing scheme in North West London.
