Rathbone Market moves a step closer!

Plans for Rathbone Market, a £180m residential led mixed-use development in the heart ofCanningTown, have been unanimously approved by the Thames Gateway Development Corporation!

CZWG’s design will revitalise the once famous market and shopping district and bring new life and excitement into the area. Developed around three phases, the 60,600 m² scheme will provide new residential accommodation, retail and state of the art community facilities.

Phase 1 will lead the regeneration, with 270 flats and 25,000 sq feet of retail. A 21- storey tower located adjacent to Newham Way at the western end of the scheme will signal regeneration of the market site and wider area and its spirited design will add to East London’s iconic skyline.
